Better Business Bureau

Lauren Interior Design is now a "BBB Accredited Business." We are very proud of this recognition because it demonstrates our professionalism and excellence. Most importantly, this accreditation assures consumers that we are a business you can trust!

Interior design is very popular today. Between HGTV and all the magazines dedicated to interior design, more and more "interior designers" are cropping up in today's marketplace. How do you know which interior designer is best for your project?

First, look at their credentials. Since New York does not require an interior design be formally educated or licensed in this field, you must be vigilant. I am a fully-licensed interior designer who strongly believes in the value of licensure. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from the respected New York School of Interior Design and attained national certification (NCIDQ-accreditation) in interior design. The Better Business Bureau provides further proof my reputation and my firm's impeccable track record.

It is also important to visit a designer's website and see if their design portfolio includes your type of project. If so, meet the designer and discuss your project. The face-to-face meeting should give you confidence in their ability to provide a successful outcome. Remember, you are initiating relationship with the interior designer that will last the course of the project and perhaps beyond. Be sure you find the right one.
