The most exciting sign that Spring has sprung is the stunning explosion of flowers abound!

Every year around this time, New Yorkers are uplifted and entertained by Nature's show of color and whimsy.

Nature's color palette is bold. Her color combinations are both balanced and startling.

It makes me wonder why clients are so often intimidated by color. Subtle gray tones abound in interior design today.

Now that Spring is here, my hope is that more clients will be motivated to allow splashes -- if not hints -- of color as a highlight to an otherwise monochromatic room.

Color is unexpected and enlivening. Color adds excitement and visual interest.

Nature's ombre effect of orange into yellow in the petals is contrasted by the darkness of the center "star" in the flower below.

The palette of these white flowers against their green stems is elegant, subtle and inspiring.
